What other product takes 12 weeks to be delivered?

And as long as we are talking about crappy distribution systems, why is it that when a DVD or CD is advertised as being available on any given Tuesday, you can count on getting it that day, but when a new video game is advertised, the release date seems to be nothing other then a fairly random guess?
