I guess the apple doesn't fall too far from the tree, or should I say, the flower doesn't drop too far from the Rose.

Unlike a lot of baseball fans, I never had any sympathy for Pete Rose. He brought on all of his troubles himself, and richly deserved his punishment for betting on baseball. Some people compare Pete Rose to Shoeless Joe Jackson, but I think that is a flawed comparison. You see, Shoeless Joe was actually innocent.
