Bigotry sucks

Those pushing anti-gay "marriage protection" amendments often say they merely wish to protect marriage, and are not interested in employment or health-care issues. This is once again being proved a lie by Republicans in Alaska, a state which already bars same-sex marriage via constitutional amendment. The legislature there is moving to pass a second amendment, barring health-care benefits for gay state workers.

Compassionate conservatism in action, I guess.
