ABC DOA

I'd like to take somebody from the ABC network, put them in a plane, and crash it into a desert island. And then have them meet "the others" -- that might be the beginning of a sufficient punishment for whatever clown at ABC decided to set the running time for tonight's "Lost" at 1:04, thus f*cking up anyone who had both "Lost" and any additional 9:00 PM show set to record on their TiVo. Because "Lost" ran 4 minutes late, the TiVo decided to not record it, since another show was set to start at 9:00.

It's not the TiVo's fault, it is ABC's for doing something this asinine.

I suppose I can download it for two bucks from Apple tomorrow, but I am not giving ABC any of my money. I'll use bit torrent.

Thanks a lot, ABC!

Update: As always, Bit Torrent comes to the rescue. A beautiful HD-quality ad-free version of Lost is now on my hard drive. In spite of what I said above, I would pay for this. A buck per episode, as long as it is ad-free and HD quality. Apple's start is nice, but they charge two dollars for very low-quality video.
