Family values

Watched the first half of the Family Guy movie last night, and it is clear so far at least that their is still a hoard of decent Family Guy material, and it was packaged into this DVD. There is more laughter in 45 minutes of the DVD then in all dozen or more of the Season 4 broadcast episodes. Or, to use a sports metaphor, the current broadcast show is like watching on aging athlete try to recapture the glory years, and the DVD is like watching a highlight disc of those very years themselves.
