There's TV, then there's real life
Brian has some interesting comments on the recent release of some tapes of President Bush's private conversations.
For gays to reflexively hoist up a rainbow-flag-flying Maginot line against (Bush) just because he has an R next to his name and mentions God once in a while only goes to show how poorly most of them understand either of those things.
Actually, the reason I don't like Bush doesn't have much to do with his Christianity or his political party.
The reason I don't like him is because he is pushing for a Constitutional amendment that would use the power of the Federal government to deny my relationship any kind of legal protection, even if the state in which I choose to live would like to pass a law granting some recognition of my relationship.
Mr. President, supporting such an amendment is the very definition of "kicking gays."
