I double dog-dare you

Best dog-related book of the year so far.

Well, the year is only a month old, but this book is great. It's basically meditations on the experiences of owning a dog in the city from a (relatively) new dog owner who was not a dog person priot to aquiring a canine. Someone kinda like me, in other words. The author talks about the zen of the daily walk, the many various ways to dispose of what the dog leaves behind, and other such lighthearted but real-life topics. Good stuff.
